About the app

KeiGo JP helps you learn and look up Japanese business keigo (honorific language) — the respectful (尊敬語), humble (謙譲語), and polite (丁寧語) forms of common verbs, plus set business expressions. It works fully offline.

We welcome bug reports, feature ideas, and suggestions for verbs or expressions you'd like added.

Common questions

Audio isn't playing. KeiGo JP uses your device's built-in text-to-speech. Make sure your device volume is up and, on iOS, that the silent switch is off. A Japanese voice must be available on your device.

Is my data private? Yes. Your favorites, recent lookup history, quiz statistics and daily sessions, flashcard statistics and daily sessions, spaced-repetition weights, practice form/level/expression settings, theme preference, and auto-play audio preference stay on your device. The More tab's Reset Learning Data action deletes the learning data while keeping your preferences. See our Privacy Policy.
