KeiGo JP does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Your privacy is fully protected.
KeiGo JP (com.lkh9596.keigojp) is a Japanese keigo and politeness level reference app. It is designed to work entirely on your device. We believe in keeping things simple — including our privacy practices.
We do not collect any personal information. Specifically:
We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact information. We do not collect location data. We do not collect usage analytics or tracking data. We do not use cookies or similar technologies. We do not collect device identifiers.
KeiGo JP stores learning data locally on your device: favorites, recent lookup history, quiz statistics and daily quiz sessions, flashcard statistics and daily flashcard sessions, and spaced-repetition weights.
The app also stores your preferences locally: practice form, level, and expression settings; theme preference; and auto-play audio preference. None of this locally stored data leaves your device or is accessible to us or any third party.
You can permanently delete all learning data from the More tab by choosing Reset Learning Data. This keeps your practice settings, theme, and auto-play audio preferences. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored learning data and preferences.
KeiGo JP uses your device's built-in text-to-speech engine to provide audio pronunciation. No audio data is sent to external servers — all speech synthesis happens locally on your device.
KeiGo JP does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No account or sign-in is required to use the app.
KeiGo JP does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.
If we ever update this privacy policy, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Given the nature of the app, we do not anticipate significant changes.
